The LE STUDIUM TRAINING SCHOOL award supports the organisation of high-level international scientific training activities initiated by researchers based in the Centre-Val de Loire region. It provides an opportunity to bring together early-career researchers, senior scientists and international experts to share advanced scientific knowledge, methodologies and practical skills in an interdisciplinary environment. Open to all scientific disciplines, the programme encourages scientific exchange, knowledge transfer and the development of new international collaborations.
The Training School project must present clear pedagogical objectives, a coherent scientific programme and a well-defined target audience. Applicants are invited to design a training format adapted to their objectives, combining lectures, practical sessions, workshops, round tables or other interactive activities. A strong international dimension is expected, both in the choice of speakers and in the participation of researchers from different countries and scientific backgrounds.
The award provides dedicated funding and full logistical and organisational support from LE STUDIUM for in-person activities organised in the Centre-Val de Loire region. This support may include travel arrangements for invited speakers, accommodation, meals, venue hire and equipment, as well as assistance with the coordination of hybrid or online activities. The maximum financial support available from LE STUDIUM is €5,000 per Training School.
