Presentation

The workshop explores the behavior of quantum matter, fields, and information in nontrivial background geometries. The topics cover a wide range of systems, such as the expanding quark-gluon plasma created in heavy-ion collisions, the environment of black hole mergers observed through gravitational waves, the off-equilibrium evolution of the Early Universe, and the statistical physics of complex graph geometries with negative effective curvature. The workshop also addresses thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, quantum anomalies, topological defects, and quantum field theory in the non-inertial frames of accelerated and/or rotated matter. The scope encompasses high-energy and nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, mathematical physics, and astrophysics, thus bringing together scientists from various fields of science interested in how energy, information, and quantum fluctuations evolve in backgrounds in curved spacetimes.
