Presentation
As part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchange programme GreenCosmIn, University of Orléans, its leading chemistry laboratory ICOA, the SALSA Platform, and Le Studium—with the support of the regional research programme ARD Cosmétosciences—are delighted to invite you to a two-day Summer School on 18–19 May 2026 on the Orléans campus (France).
Located at the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire research ecosystem, ICOA is a key player in organic and analytical chemistry, with over 20 years of expertise in the development of advanced analytical methodologies for cosmetics and well-being applications. As a member of Cosmetic Valley and the GDR Cosm'Actif, ICOA is strongly embedded in both academic and industrial innovation networks.
This interactive and hands-on Summer School is designed for members of the GreenCosmIn consortium and the International Committee for Cosmetosciences - ICC (up to 25 participants for workshop sessions). Over two days, participants will benefit from:
- Lectures and practical workshops led by senior researchers from the consortium
- Training in analytical chemistry techniques, extraction and fractionation processes, and characterisation of natural products
- A dedicated workshop on herbarium development, led by an invited researcher collaborating with ICOA and hosted by Le Studium
Beyond scientific training, the Summer School aims to foster exchange, collaboration, and networking within the GreenCosmIn community in a friendly and stimulating environment.
We look forward to welcoming you in Orléans for this unique opportunity to share knowledge, develop skills, and strengthen collaborations.
