Yves Farge has been active in research from
more than 50 years,
• as manager of research and the first director
of LURE,
• as the "Chef de la Mission scientifique et technique" at the Ministry of Research,
• as the chairman of the group which made
the case for the ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facility),
• as Vice-president for Research and Technology of a large multinational company including Chairman of the Scientific Council of LE STUDIUM®.
He will present his thoughts about research today and tomorrow in France and in the world.
