In January 2015, Nicola Fazzalari, Scientific Director of LE STUDIUM, Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies joined the Scientific Council of La Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Val de Loire : http://msh.univ-tours.fr/. The Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Val de Loire, federal structure regrouping of human sciences research teams, is placed under the umbrella of the CNRS and the universities of Tours and Orleans. It currently comprises 19 research teams and is managed by the USR 3501. Its thematic priorities for the contractual period 2012-2017 are: Val de Loire studies, urban studies, currency and finance, accountability, visualisation and virtualization.
