Collaborator role
Dr Guerra has international recognition for his work on the co-evolution of GPCRs and their cognate ligands. His participation in the project will add a new dimension which brings this evolutionary insight to bear on the challlenge of pheromone receptor de-orphanisation. As a new academic appointment at the University of Southampton, his engagement in the project will help to cement longer term fruitful collaborations between the Southampton labs and INRAE.
