Important note:
Please note that this document is designed to share information between partners of a project. Applications must be completed online on the LE STUDIUM® website. An application submitted by email will NOT be valid.To submit an online application, you need to register on LE STUDIUM® website. After validation of your account, you will receive an email inviting you to complete your online proposal.The online application form has the following sections.
- Laboratory Host ScientistGive the following details concerning the laboratory host scientist: first name, surname, title, birth date, nationality, laboratory, institution, professional address, phone number, email, website.
- Summary of the proposalWrite a summary of the proposal in English and French; it may be used in public media if the proposal is funded.Content limited to 2000 characters for each summary.
- Track record of the correspondentHighlight the career achievements of the applicant and awards including a list of peer-reviewed publications in the last five years. Identify up to five publications from this list relevant to this proposal EXCLUDING submitted papers. Book chapters and books should be listed separately.Content limited to 8000 characters.
- Partners involved in the proposalPartners share a common understanding of the overall project and understand the significance of their contribution to the overall project outcome.
- For each partner give the following details: first name, surname, title, birth date, nationality, laboratory, institution, professional address, phone number, email, website.
- Track record of the partners: highlight the career achievements of the applicant and awards including a list of peer-reviewed publications in the last five years. Identify up to five publications from the list relevant to this proposal EXCLUDING submitted papers. Book chapters and books should be listed separately.Content limited to 8000 characters for each partners.For the professorship programme, at least two laboratories or three teams from the same laboratory need to be partners in the project.
- Proposed missionDescribe the proposed mission, which can incorporate contributions as diverse as but not exclusively:
- Introduction of a new research activity complementary to those of the teams involved in the project,- Organization of an emerging domain of research and teaching,- Organization of an international laboratory,- Organization of a set of conferences, winter or summer workshops or schools with a unifying goal.Content limited to 12000 characters.6- Proposed researchDescribe the background, aims, research plan and how each partner will contribute and coordinate their involvement to achieve the desired outcomes, including bibliography.Content limited to 12000 characters.7- Details of the proposed Professor-> Give the following details concerning the proposed Professor: first name, surname, title, birth date, nationality, laboratory, institution, professional address, phone number, email, website, scientific specialty.-> Track record of the ProfessorExplain what the applicant will be able to contribute to the mission and the research, including skills and experience, demonstrated ability to work with research teams andindustrial partners. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and team building experience is held in high regard. Highlight the career achievements of the applicant and awards including a list of peer-reviewed publications in the last five years. Identify up to five publications from the list relevant to this proposal EXCLUDING submitted papers. Book chapters and books should be listed separately. The applicant must also provide a separate CV document.Content limited to 12000 characters.-> Date of residence for the first period-> Financial support to the chair• Operating cost: host laboratory or partners contribution to the research activity operating costs.• Salary: host laboratory or partners contribution to the salary of LE STUDIUM research fellow.• Event costs: host laboratory or partners contribution to the cost of events involving LE STUDIUM research fellow.8- CollaboratorsCollaborators provide high-level expertise on an aspect of the overall project to ensure a project specific outcome.-> Give the following details for each collaborator: first name, surname, title, birth date, nationality, laboratory, institution, professional address, phone number, email, website.-> Collaborator roleContent limited to 4000 characters for each partner.9- ReviewersRecommended reviewers should NOT have co-authored a publication with the laboratory host scientist, partners and collaborators or with the proposed Professor, in the last five years.Give the following details for each reviewers: first name, name, title, nationality, laboratory, institution, professional address, phone number, email, website.10- DocumentsA document for signature needs to be downloaded, signed and uploaded to the online proposal before the proposal is submitted.
