This Summer School will be of interest to key stake-holders in the cosmetic industry, including cosmetic manufacturers, ingredient and raw material suppliers, retailers and distributors, industry organizations and certification agencies. Moreover, this Summer School is open to researchers and academics working in Cosmetics. The three-day event will about 50 participants in total.
Speakers have been selected from among regional and international researchers, and enterprises either from the region Centre-Val de Loire or beyond.
The Summer School has three components:
- Formal presentations on scientific topics
- Visit to ICOA laboratory at the University of Orleans and practical demonstrations
- Exchange with and among enterprises
This event will include a session on the funding of European Projects including how to prepare competitive projects with industrial partners. There will also be the opportunity to propose and participate in a STUDIUM Consortium in the framework of the Cosmetosciences ARD 2020 Programme.

Cette Summer School va particulièrement intéresser les principaux acteurs de l’industrie cosmétique : les fabricants de cosmétiques, les fournisseurs de matières premières, les détaillants, les distributeurs, les organisations industrielles ainsi que les agences de certification. De plus, cette Summer School est ouvert aux chercheurs et aux universitaires travaillant dans le secteur de la Cosmétique.
Il devrait réunir une cinquantaine de participants au total.
Les intervenants ont été sélectionnés parmi des chercheurs régionaux et internationaux, ainsi que des entreprises de la région Centre Val-de-Loire et au-delà.
Cette Summer School se déroule en trois temps :
- Des interventions formelles sur les avancées scientifiques
- La visite du laboratoire ICOA à l’Université d’Orléans et des démonstrations pratiques
- Des échanges avec les entreprises
Cet événement comportera également une session dédiée au financement des Projets Européens, notamment sur comment préparer un projet compétitif avec des partenaires industriels.
Il offrira la possibilité de proposer et participer à un Consortium STUDIUM pour le Programme Cosmétosciences ARD 2020.
