Automata networks: theory, applications and future developments.
An automata network corresponds to a discrete dynamical system in terms of time, states and space. More precisely, a finite set of states over the vertex of a graph updated following a local rule ( which depends of neighbord sites). The global dynamics may be in parallel (every site updated synchronously), sequentially (one after the other) or block-sequentially ( sites divided in set of blocks updated sequentially). We will present some examples for the particular case of one dimensional cellular automata, somo theoretical results, some applications and future developments
