Maxim Chernodub has received his PhD in 1999 at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology;
in 1999-2001 and 2003-2008 he was a researcher in the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP), Moscow; in 2001-2003 he was a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in Kanazawa, Japan. Received his habilitation (Doctor of Science) degree in 2008 at ITEP. Since 2008 he is a CNRS researcher at the University of Tours, France. In recent years his work has focused on properties of Quantum Chromodynamics in strong magnetic field background and transport effects associated with anomalies in field theories.
